After the enforced weather led break of the previous week Cardigan bounced back into action with a thumping win over Lampeter.
From the moment newcomer Scott Symon opened their account after nine minutes the result was never in doubt. He went on to complete an impressive hat-trick whilst a goal apiece from Ben Davies and substitute Kevin Evans completed the rout. Mark Wilkins netted the home side's sole reply. St Dogmaels took another step to regaining the title with a well worked win over Llanybydder. Chris Thomas grabbed an early goal from a Steve Blackford cross with Steve Williams and Slawomir Waleczek then adding one each to clinch the points. Aberaeron kept themselves in the championship race as they clinched a valuable away win at Ffostrasol. After a goalless first half Iestyn Thomas led the way with a couple before Gareth Lewis and Ellis Daniels chipped in to complete their team's tally. Dafydd Jones netted the Wanderers only consolation goal. Maesglas returned triumphant from their long trip to Llanddewi Brefi. Chris Jones opened their account on their hour turning in a Llifon Howells cross before Dean Winney added the second to put the result beyond doubt. In the League Cup Aberporth proved to be no match for Crannog as they went on a six goal match winning spree. Jordan Jones proved to be their undoubted hero with four goals with Lee Davies from the penalty spot and Richard Thomas adding further salt to the wound. Also in cup Felinfach pulled off a narrow win at Llandysul to earn themselves a home tie against St Dogmaels. |
